[WTS] Auction Leftovers #6

Hello again, and good morning!
This listing is for items that did not sell during the January 17 Auction, so you can buy anything you want right here and right now - no buyer's premiums, no additional fees.
*FREE shipping for any order over $100.
*All items priced at $1 are now .75 each
Each lot was individually imaged (front and back) for the auction - so the easiest way for you to see exactly what you're buying is to visit the auction link (the auction is over, so I'm not advertising anything different or advertising an upcoming auction) - so here that is:

Here is the required "prove you still have the stuff" photo with the username card and today's date:

Payment: PayPal only. I do not have Venmo/Zello/Bitcoin or any other form of digital payment at this time. No notes if using PPFF, please. (Thank you.) If you choose to use PPFF, please make sure to send me your shipping address here as it won't automatically load with your payment.
Shipping: I will charge you what it costs me for the USPS label rounded up to the nearest dollar. For First Class that is usually $4, for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box it will be $9. I will get you a tracking number right after payment is received and will get your package scanned into the USPS system within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I will offer "Risky Shipping" (via stamped greeting card) at my discretion for $1 - for single, small coins ONLY. NOTE: These prices are for Continental US shipping only - if you live outside the continental US, shipping will be more expensive. I am still happy to do it under the same rules as above, but just keep in mind it's going to cost more.
What do YOU need to do to buy coins from this group: send me a list of which lots you want (for example, I want to buy lots # 51, 52, 53, 54, 55) and I will send you a total. There are too many coins here (plus there are duplicates) so I cannot look up the coins you want by description - just give me lot numbers and it will be much simpler.
I'd like to make a simple and polite request - if I have sent you my PayPal information (meaning we've agreed to a deal) please finish it up as soon as you can so I can check you off the list and move on to the next person. This helps make sure you get all the coins we discussed and no one else is in limbo.
I will do my absolute best to update the ad as soon as lots sell.

(Toronto) Blue Heron Casino poker room review.

Blue Heron Casino just outside of Port Perry ON reopened its poker room last week, and I decided to go check it out today.
I called ahead at 4pm, and arrived about 4:30. The place was very busy, as they were doing a giveaway to their clients with large club point balances, and there were people wandering around with free gifts. The lineup for the Prime Rib/Snow Crab buffet was an hour long.
I checked in to the poker room, only to find that I was the 41st person on the wait list for $1/$2, and they only had ONE table running at that stake. They also offered $2/5, $10/20, and a variant called "Kill" and "Half Kill" on the $10/$20 and $20/$40. I have no idea what these variants are like, I've never played them, nor seen them offered at Niagara or Rama. It took almost 5 hours to get a seat.
The tables and chairs were brand new, and very comfortable, see pic. Note that there are no cupholders, beverages are only permitted on rolling side tables.
The rake at $1/$2 is 10% capped at $6, with diminished rake if there are less than 4 players. Also, no flop, no rake. There is also an additional $1 drop for the BBJ, making a total of $7 for virtually every pot.
Table was pretty loose, most players betting post-flop at $20-$30, and subsequent streets seeing $30-$40-$50 bets or more, and usually multiple players calling. There were a few monster pots, and almost every pot had at least 3 people gunning for it.
Player ranges were all over the place. I didn't have a great night, I tightened up and waited for decent cards in position, but I couldn't hit a flop with a sniper rifle. Kinda demoralizing when you have A♦Q♦, the flop comes 3♣7♠8♠, and there's a $20 bet followed by a raise to $55. All told, I was card dead for much of the night, bought in for $200 and out for $60.
Players were very fun and sociable, perhaps the most interactive bunch of players I had played in the context of a casino, it reminded me of my regular weekly home game.
Next time I will call in earlier, and maybe try to arrive around noon. Other casino visits have been to Rama or Niagara, and I often book a room, so long waits aren't an issue, I head upstairs and they text me when I am up. This isn't an option at Heron, the attached hotel doesn't open until July 2020, and believe it or not, there isn't a single hotel or motel in Port Perry. Even the local AirB&B rooms are outrageously priced....over $100, and this is very much the off season. I can get a hotel suite mid-week in Niagara for cheaper than someone's spare bedroom in Port Perry...and the hotel suite comes with discounts at the steak house and comped slot play.

Post Body:

Hi Reddit,
You guys are an awesome bunch and I was wondering if you could give me some advice on something that has been stressing me out as of late, and sorry for the super long post. :/

I (26M) have been hanging out with a coworker (28F) outside of work on the regular now, and honestly, I think she is the one and won't hesitate to marry her, but there is one catch, she is a Jehovah's Witness. That being the case, she is requiring her next partner be a Jehovah's Witness before anything can be defined in terms of a relationship. I guess according to her, there are very strong restrictions in place when it comes to relationships and deviating from these set rules in one way or another would result in being shunned by the community and by extension her family would disown her and/or fail to acknowledge her existence. She was raised as a Jehovah's Witness by her parents, and as such, she associates and credits her morals, ideology, and personality as a product of being involved in the religion. Though in contrast, her sister's aren't committed to the religion, and they go about their lives doing other things.

The really confusing part to all this is as of late, we have been hanging out a lot and have made out on multiple occasions. At this point, I'm not sure where she draws the line or if she is making an exception with me, but we've talked about this multiple times where she doesn't want to continue hanging out knowing that she would feel guilty kissing a guy that isn't a Jehovah's Witness, yet we have met up consistently despite her decision. She's found herself extremely conflicted with the situation, she has said that I treat her extremely well and that I always place her needs above my own and always go the extra mile to make sure she's happy.

According to her, her previous boyfriend was rather abusive and mistreated her while they were in a long term relationship. She has had two serious 4-year relationships in the past, the first was great, the second, not so much. She hasn't dated or has had sex since she fully committed herself to the religion, since 23, if I'm not mistaken, but for the first time, she feels that we really bond and really wants a relationship with me with the sole condition that I become a Jehovah's Witness.

I am totally fine with joining the religion, but if I had to be honest, it would be to spend the rest of my life with this girl, and not for the sole purpose of belief and faith in the religion. My friends and family aren't really big on celebrating the holidays and whatnot, so I don't feel like I would be losing out on much if I had to give that up. Though the thing that really bugs me is that although I am fine converting over to a religion that I have no knowledge about, I feel that I am doing it for all the wrong reasons, even if it was to secure a chance at eventually marrying this girl. Although we haven't dated officially, we have spent a fair amount of time together and we rarely find ourselves apart, as we are constantly texting each other. I really like this girl and I cannot stop thinking about her at all, and she feels the same way, but it really kills me knowing that the only thing stopping me is religion, yet because of my hesitation and uncertainty in how this will all play out, I am ultimately stressing myself out.

I know that in the event that if we stopped dating, whatever the reason may be, I know I would not be able to continue being a Jehovah's Witness as I would have solely entered the religion at the promise of spending the rest of my life with her, and not under the circumstances of committing my faith to the religion. I feel like this would be extremely selfish of me to do, but at the same time, I don't want to leave things on a "What If?" state. I've asked her out of curiosity if she would give up her religion to spend the rest of her life with me, and although she said no, she did state that if we had met prior to her baptism, she would happily agree to enter into a relationship with me. That being said, I can't help but feel that I am getting the shorter end of the stick over this one condition. I would never force her to do something that she has no intent of doing, but I feel to some degree that she isn't willing to sacrifice anything to give us a chance, and because of that I've been really torn about how to approach her about this.

Any advice on what to do? Thanks guys. Really appreciate it.

TL;DR: I really like a girl that I have been hanging out with fairly frequently and honestly, if it was possible, I would marry her. Our feelings for each other are mutual, but she refuses to go official unless I join her religion and also commit myself to becoming a Jehovah's Witness. Given that, we've basically been making out on every occasion that we meet up. She has tried to resist the urge to hang out, and although it works for a few days, we always end up where we started. I have no problem becoming a Jehovah's Witness, if it means spending the rest of my life with this girl, however, because I know I am joining a religion for the sole purpose of being with someone and not to commit myself to the religion, I feel guilty and because of that, I've grown extremely hesitant knowing that I wouldn't continue with the religion should our relationship end.

I was raised and baptized as a JW. Just so you're clear, because she is baptized, for you to even date her let alone marry her, you would need to be baptized as well, and the elders in the congregation will look at the fact that you two are romantically linked as your reason and likely hinder that. Also, she would not be having sex with you until after marriage or she would be disfellowshipped, as I was.
I have no ill will against the faith. My entire family and much of my extended family on both sides are JWs. But you need to look at all sides of the faith before deciding that's what you want. At one point, before being shunned, I dated a non-JW who had no intention of converting and it caused a huge internal struggle for me.

Listen do what you want, but know that becoming a Jehovah's Witness is not simply a change of religion, it is a MAJOR lifestyle 180. Definitely not the religion I would choose to enter into, but hey, do you.

If you aren't willing to change your religion, then I highly doubt this relationship would work. Multi-faith relationships are fine until someone actually believe in the tenants of any chosen faith.

I am totally fine with joining the religion
Are you really, really sure? Trust me: you shouldn't be.
Jehovah's witnesses are comparable in many ways to mormons (LDS) or orthodox Jews in the sense that religion rules and even defines all aspects of life.
Seriously look what you are getting yourself in to, and then if you have any sense I hope you conclude to run far and wide.

That was one of the things I hated the most. As a JW, he'll be spending inordinate amounts of time "trying" to convert the worldly family and friends. Takes away from just truly enjoying anything unless pushing sales is considered a hobby.

Run! Do not join the religion. It is a cult and she is most likely indoctrinated that getting her out will be extremely difficult. Go to JWFACTS.com and find out how crazy cakes the religion is run.

So I was raised as a JW and got baptized- the whole 9 yards. I have been in the exact same position as this girl you are seeing. And my boyfriend actually did convert for me! And guess what?? It takes more than that to make a relationship work. We aren’t together anymore.
Most Jehovah’s Witnesses are very nice and moral people, but the entire religion itself is nothing but rules, judgement from others and guilt tripping. Are you prepared to never celebrate your children’s birthdays? To not be able to grow a beard (it’s not allowed)? To have other men in the congregation dictate every detail of your life? I’m not exaggerating either. They will even go as far as knit-pick what kind of vehicle you drive or how tight your pants are.
It’s not like going to the church on the corner once a week. And have you ever thought of this: -why aren’t you good enough for her as you are? I suggest you get on YouTube and search for “ex jw, former Jehovah’s Witness, etc.” it will be an eye opener.
Again, I totally understand the pain and frustration you both are having to deal with, it sucks. If you have any questions you can DM me.

Run for your life!! I was born & raised jw. I found out it was a cult in Jan 2017. I have lost my entire family & friends, but i can honestly say i wouldnt trade my current life for my old life. Watch "leah reminis Special on A & E on Nov 13 featuring Jehovah's witnesses" plz plz get out now!

It’s not a religion you can fake by turning up for an hour on Sunday. They have meetings three times a week and preaching door to door on weekends. You’re not supposed to have “worldly” friends or really any interests outside the religion.
Depending where you are in the food chain the judgement and interference can be insane. I’m talking two elders turning up on your doorstep to question why you haven’t been attending regularly or dressing you down for any perceived slight.
My biggest beef with them though is that they are currently actively hiding evidence of child sex abuse and refuse to change their policy that two people must witness the abuse for them to act.
I’d think real hard about this. It might not seem bad to begin with but what about ten years down the track when youre married with kids and still don’t believe and you break up over it. You’ll be shunned by everyone who’s still in, your kids will be told all sorts of things (my uncles kids were 4 and 5 and they were told dad had demons at his house so when they stayed they were hysterical. He ended up having to stop seeing them at his house because it was traumatising them so much).
Reddit has a sub for ex jws and while it shows people’s worst experiences it might give you a view to how it operates.

I'm an ex-jw, and leaving the religion was the best thing that ever happened to me. Keep spending time with the girl, be very subtle but encourage any cognitive dissonance she has. If you really feel for this girl you would be doing her a disservice by allowing her to throw away the rest of her life to this shitty religion.

Correction. Her first love and highest priority will be the Governing Body of the Watchtower, not God. And as for Jesus ( an Arch Angel), well, he ranks somewhere between an elder and the kingdom hall cleaners .
A JW can express some doubts about God without too many reprecutions, if a JW doubts the Governing Body they will be immediately disfellowshipped and shunned by family and friends. No if's no buts.

Former JW here, run far away and fast. I know you care about this girl, but this religion creates deeply flawed individuals through their abusive practices and delusions of living forever on an earthly paradise.

Don’t do this.
Jehovah’s Witnesses do not fuck around. It’s not like Catholicism or Judaism where no one really cares if you stay or go. If you convert to JW, you’re all in, all the time. And there are serious consequences for breaking the rules. Not just you-will-go-to-hell-someday consequences, but actual, real-world punishment.
This girl may like you a lot, but she can’t leave her religion without risking enormous loss. A halfhearted conversion isn’t an option for you, and leaving clearly doesn’t seem like an option to her. So you either decide you’re fully on board with some serious, life-altering shit and throw in with this girl long term, or you walk away and trust that you’ll find someone who isn’t tied down by a strict insular religion.
I have a feeling you’re not thinking entirely with your brain on this one.

Jehovah is spread throughout the world but it has slight cult like tendencies. My classmates family were Jehovah's witnesses. His mother was hospitalized for minor problem and died because Jehovah forbids blood transfusion. Think it extends to some other medical procedures as well. The are also very aggressive about recruiting and it's not easy to get them to lay off if you wanna leave.

Practicing a religion and not believing in it is not converting, it's pretending. Don't "convert" to any religion that you don't wholeheartedly believe in, in general.
But especially this religion: it's one thing to fake it going to a church on Sunday and nothing else, it's another completely to meet the requirements to be a JW. Have you looked into their requirements for its church members? Its specific beliefs? Rules? I don't think you have if you're so willing to "convert" over a girl-- for example, if you get into a car accident or something, if you're a JW your religion states you cannot get a blood transfusion. If you're dying but in a perfectly treatable state that just requires a blood transfusion, if you're a JW you will die. There are certain sorts of jobs you're not allowed to take as a JW (some government jobs, casinos, ect) and you can't be associated with a political party (judging by the amount of "I voted" posts on exJw today I get the impression the no political party crap includes no voting).
You can't question any of the beliefs. If you break the rules, you'll be shunned by all JW you know-- possibly/likely including her. Are you willing to make that sort of commitment?
Do you want to raise your kids in that sort of environment? Even if you're willing to fake it and do it successfully, your kids will be 100% exposed to all the toxic parts of this religion from birth and suffer all the negative consequences of that. If your kids are dying and a blood transfusion could save them, you're required to refuse. If your kids decide to leave the religion, you'll be required to act as if they're dead. And seriously, research what it's like growing up in JW because that's what you're going to be putting your kids through by faking it. Not to mention the sexual abuse scandals-- if your kids are sexually abused within the community, nothing will be done about it and you and your kid will be expected to continue contact as normal and get shunned if you make a stink or try to reduce contact. And if this girl is this loyal to her church, I expect she'll go along with whatever shunning of you or your kids is required by the church if it comes to that.
Honestly, I'd suggest you tell her, "Even if I go along with your beliefs, I just don't believe them and it would be a lie." And stop seeing her. She's asking you to give up so much on barely knowing her and she's not willing to give up anything for you.
And go see a therapist, because you've probably got some serious hang-ups if you're seriously considering all that for a girl you barely know.

The Jehova's Witnesses is a cult that uses manipulative practices to keep its members in line so proceed with caution. If she does something against the tenets of the church, she will end up getting shunned, with her family and friends cutting contact with her. It's not the usual cut and dried situation of just choosing to be with someone she loves over a religion she doesn't always follow. Choosing you could mean losing everything. Investigate the situation thoroughly before you make a decision about whether it's something you want to dedicate your life to. If not, don't join a cult just because you like a girl.

Think about having to acomodate your life to this religion, go to meetings 2 times a week, listen to things you dont believe in over and over without being able to express how you feel about it. Think about if you guys decide to have children and they grow up with the religion as the only source of valid reallity like your wife ¿dont you want your children to live their life fully? ¿Do you want to explain to your Kids that they cant go to his friends birthday party because of what a religion you dont believe in teaches? My Mother baptized as a JWS in order to marry my father and that brought seriuos conflicts in our lifes. She eventually stopped going, hide from my dad that we were going to spend christimas at my grandmas, gave us birthday presents secretly. My father forced my Sister to go to the meetings up until she was 12, she refused causing a horrible fight with violence involved. I really, really, really wish my patents have never got married. They would have been so much happier.

"I don't share your religious beliefs, and you've made it clear that's a dealbreaker, so we're going to have to part ways. I hope we can still be friends, but I'm not comfortable spending time together alone from now on."
Converting to a religion just so you can date someone is a terrible idea in and of itself. Converting to as restrictive and... idiosyncratic, let's say, a religion as Jehovah's Witnesses to enable a relationship with a woman you've only hung out with a bit outside of work and made out with a few times (while she's saying she shouldn't allow herself to do it) is a worse idea than there are easy ways to express.
She's telling you that the person you are isn't someone she wants to be with, so you're considering faking being someone else. Don't.
You seem to be invested in this woman out of all proportion to how well you know her, how much time you've spent together, and how obviously incompatible you are. End any sort of romantic entanglement and put some work into figuring out why you're so eager to throw yourself essentially blind into such a major life change.

As a former Jehovah's Witness, my advice is DO NOT JOIN THIS RELIGION. It's a cult, and leaving is extremely difficult. The elders will worm their way into every aspect of your life, including financially, until you don't know who to trust. There are a number of abuse scandals that are being dilligently ignored by the organization that are currently in the news, and I personally know people affected by the cover-up. Science and reasoning are seen as tools of Satan. This girl is already walking a fine line just by being alone with you (when I was in, any association with "wordly" people was forbidden unless it was to convert them, and being alone with the opposite sex was tantamount to fornication) and she would probably be disciplined if the congregation was to find out that she's been seeing you up to this point. It sounds like she wants to stay in so she doesn't lose her family, and that's a choice she needs to make. Let her know you'll support her decision to leave if she wants to be with you, but under no circumstances should you even pretend to be interested in this religion.

This has incredible potential to go wrong and almost zero potential to go right. You should NOT join a cult, let alone join on false pretenses for someone you barely know.
Are you prepared to give up all birthdays and holidays, for yourself AND your children, for the rest of your life? Are you prepared to commit at least 30-40% of your time and a sizable chunk of your income to a religious cult that you don’t even believe in? Jehovah’s Witnesses don’t believe in half measures. You’re all the way in or you’re dead to them.
Also, even if we ignore the potential long-term consequences of joining a cult, what about the potential consequences of dating a coworker and having things go south? Depending on the workplace, it could be difficult or impossible to avoid her afterwards, and a relationship might even get you into trouble.

I'd highly advise against it.
However, if you must, just know that if you ever decide that it isn't for you any more, because you discover that they are a false christian religion, that micromanages their members' every move, you will be shunned by anyone who is a JW until you go back! Their leadership, the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society also use very subtle propaganda tactics to convince their members that their advice and understanding of scripture is “the one and only truth!” They use lies and misquote secular authorities to push their ideas too.
Also, you will be required to reject blood transfusions, in the event that you ever needed one. She will too! Also, and this is really awful, if you have children together, they will be subjected to all of their subtle, controlling propaganda to live a simple life, throw away their ambitions, bypass college in lieu of a lesser paying job, or life as a vocational worker (which isn't bad in itself, but people should have the freedom to choose for themselves).
There's a lot more!
Read JWFacts.com to get a few ideas of how they use deception to attract people to their “culture.”

Run, just run. Jehovah's Witnesses are a cult. Joining them can ruin a great part of your life.
No matter how much you like this girl, it is not worthy. Believe me, I was a JW and it was the most stupid thing I have done in my life. I lost a great part of my life, and a lot of opportunities also.
Never, I repeat, NEVER join a cult just because you have the hots for a woman. Never!!!

Jehovah’s Witness is a pretty scary and intense religion to jump into, especially without any former knowledge. I’d do you’re research before converting for the wrong reasons for a coworker.

As an exjw, do not become a JW to be with this girl. Just.....don't become a JW, period. I send that advice out to anyone else reading this forum as well.
Op, head on over to the exjw subreddit if you want to see a small snippet of how this cult ruins people's lives. I was lucky to fade out as a teenager before getting baptized, but many people lose their entire families.
Right now, being alone with you and making out is enough for the elders at her hall to summon her to a judicial committee, and most likely reprove her and warn her to knock it off. Sleeping with you would most certainly be a disfellowshipping offense. That would mean she'd be shunned and ostracized by any still active family members. And don't count on her to keep your meet ups a secret on her own. You've seen a small taste of the control elders have over the congregation. If she "messes up" and sleeps with you, she may very well tell on herself. She already has guilt for making out. This isn't worth it.
Also, don't shit where you eat. Don't mess up your work environment by dating coworkers.

Guys, first and foremost, I was born into the religion but hated it ever since I can remember. My hate turned to loathing around 12, but I still went to every meeting until 18 when I moved out of my parents house. Since then, I haven't been to a meeting or circuit assembly, or any JW event since. But because of that, I know a thing or two about the JW's.
Everything that people are saying about the JWs are true. They are a cult. They are led by this board of like 10 men who pass all information down to these people who write this magazine called the "Watchtower", which is then given to the heads of each kingdom hall(their church) which are called elders.
All the rules, regulations, requirements, etc are written based off of interpretations made of their bible (the new translations version) by the board and governing body.
However, and this is the important part, all of these rules and regulations DO NOT apply to you as long as you are not baptized. If you are not baptized, you are considered a student. You are someone who is studying the bible, but you are not officially a member of the "truth" yet. Therefore, you are able to do whatever the fuck you want without any issues. But once you get baptized, it's over for you. That is when they show their true cult like colors.
If the girl you are with right now is baptized, honestly, I would bail. Right now, she is technically going against what is taught in the kingdom halls about relationships because to them, it is important to date within the religion with the intention of marriage. Honestly, it's probably her that put the idea of marriage into your head so soon.
Basically to sum it up, if you date her officially, you still aren't a part of the religion and you never will be UNTIL YOU GET BAPTIZED. But honestly, it's going to be hard as shit to stay in a relationship with someone who seems as devout as her. If you aren't as faithful as she is, this relationship in the long run will never work.

Run. Run like you have never run before and don't look back. Do not become a Jehovah's Witness under any circumstance. It is a cult. If you really want to be with her, ask if she will watch a special on A&E on November 13th with you. Leah Remini will outing Jw's for every bit of the crazy that they are.

My boyfriend is also exJW. He still has trouble reconciling his views on some things even having left JW 10+ years ago. His Dad was shunned and he's talked about how humiliating that was for his Dad and family. Hopefully OP will fine out what he would be getting into before making that commitment.

As someone who knows many witnesses, this is potentially (and likely) a recruiting tactic.
edit: Just to clarify, my dad had an affair with and then married a Jehovah's Witness. I have a few friends who I have met because of this who have similar stories. This is not unusual behavior, even if they're supposed to consider it immoral.

...have you looked into what Jehovah's Witnesses believe at all?! I get that you have a crush on this woman, but you need to slow down. This is not a decision to rush into. You barely know her. Do not join JW just so that you will have a girlfriend. That is absolutely insane.
You say you've grown hesitant about it. You should be hesitant about it. She's refusing to date you unless you join her cult first. That should terrify you. I would advise you to take a step back, get some space, and do some research (not from a site run by JW's). Take a good, long look at what your life would be like were you to join.
You're only 26. You have plenty of time to find an amazing person who won't require you to sign your life away.

SUPERTRAMP Co-Founder ROGER HODGSON Set for Fall Tour

Roger Hodgson, legendary vocalist and singer-songwriter from Supertramp, is heading back to North America for a series of fall dates. Following extensive tours of Europe and South America, Hodgson kicks off his North American tour on Nov. 4th in Wabash, Indiana.
Hodgson co-founded the progressive rock band Supertramp in 1969 and was with them for 14 years. He helped define a generation of progressive rock and wrote and sang Supertramp’s globally successful and enduring anthems such as “Breakfast in America,” “Give a Little Bit,” “Take the Long Way Home,” “The Logical Song,” “Dreamer,” “It's Raining Again,” “School,” and “Fool's Overture” – songs that helped the band sell well over 60 million albums.
Hodgson is recognized as one of the most gifted composers and lyricists of our time. He has twice been recognized by ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers) for his songs being in the top played songs in their repertory, proving that they have indeed stood the test of time.
Accompanied by a four-piece band, Roger continues to perform all his hits that he recorded with Supertramp plus other classics - such as “Child of Vision,” “Hide in Your Shell,” “Sister Moonshine,” “Even in the Quietest Moments,” plus favorites from his solo albums - “Only Because of You,” “Lovers in the Wind,” and “In Jeopardy” - many of which can be found on his current CD release, Classics Live.
Uniting generations, Hodgson is transporting baby boomers back to their youth while giving younger concertgoers a taste of why his heartfelt songs have endured. North American audiences are once again preparing to experience the magic and spirit that Hodgson created with Supertramp.
Roger Hodgson North American Tour Dates:
November 4 - Wabash, IN - Honeywell Center
November 6 - Detroit, MI - MotorCity Casino Hotel
November 7 - Niagara Falls, NY - Seneca Niagara Falls Casino and Resort

“Remarkably, the humble musical legend is back and his signature voice sounds stronger than ever… to see and hear Roger Hodgson in concert today is simply to experience a sort of musical homecoming.” Rolling Stone
“This is the real deal: a legendary music man, in brilliant form and shimmering presence, supported by a tight, terrific band. An evening with Roger Hodgson will raise your standards of concert-going.” Huffington Post
“Beautiful. That’s the word that just keeps popping into your head when watching Roger Hodgson perform. Whether it’s the melodic complexity of his songs, the harmonies he weaves with his band, the lyrics that sweep you away or his ability to still command the incredible upper range of his voice…” Classic Rock Music Examiner
Check out his latest release, ‘Classics Live’. This spectacular collection of Roger’s hit songs from concerts recorded around the world is available through his Store and iTunes.

Questions Answers
What was your favorite skit on Whose Line Is It Anyway? Richard simmons jet ski. you tube it. i wasnt in it, but i dont care. funniest thing ever!
How did you get so good at improvising songs? I thought you were one of the few who could keep up with Wayne. I blame several concussions.
I saw that "Whose Line Is It Anyway" is going to be re-running again. How much of what you guys do is true on-the-spot improv and how much was you guys kind of relying on jokes you've come up with before (tried and true punchlines for certain situations?) I feel like if you play those games enough times certain things come up more than once and you can go to the memory bank with what worked before. What's the balance of leaning on old material versus true creative spark when you're doing improv? It was always on the spot. we never try to do the same jokes. we strived to always be original. you are always trying to react in a funny way.
Its Cool to hear that WHiiA is coming back! Is the whole gang coming back? It is not certain whether I will be back on WLIIA. the CW is looking for new improvisers for the fourth chair. If the show gets picked up for more episodes, i'm sure Greg and I will return.
I saw in "This vs. That," you're testing whether it's faster to weave through traffic or stay in your lane. WELL WHICH IS IT??? The exec producer has expressly forbidden me to answer that. tune in to see.
Hello! You're one of my favorite performers! This is the funniest song styles I've ever seen (the one where you rhyme Neroshi). Which type of game was your favorite and least favorite? Was there ever any recognition for being announced the winner at the end of Whose Line, maybe after the show? Did you guys ever know about the celebrity guest beforehand or was it always a surprise? Which were your favorite performers to work with? When will your show come through Georgia? Which shows do you watch online/tv? Here are my responses in order to your Qs Thanks. Thanks again. SOund FX & Hoedown. No Spankings after show. It was a surprise. Sid Caesar. Been there twice. Pay attention. Breaking Bad. you're welcome.
What is it like living with a 9 inch penis? Colin lives in Toronto...
Thanks for doing this AMA. I really love your work. What's the best advice you have for someone trying to become more confident in improv? I've gotten pretty far off of "Say 'Yes, and'", but my biggest issue is giving out too many jokes when only half are actually funny. How do you avoid awkward silence without forcing too many duds? Dont plan. listen and react. if you react, youre not writing jokes in your head and disconnected from your fellow players.
During a pay per view special a while back you did with the whose line gang people would constantly mention doritos. Did you guys get paid to say that or just beating a dead horse? Doritos was the sponsor, and we began mocking them, because we are all childish. we didnt get any bonus for saying it over and over.
Hey Brad, what is your most favorite thing about Drew Carey, past and present? His generosity toward the people he works with is unmatched and rare in this business. one time he took the cast and crew of the Drew Show & WLIIA on a weeklong private carribean cruise.
Take that Seinfeld!
How do you differentiate your show from Mythbusters? This is how my new show, This Vs. That is different from Mythbusters. Mythbusters deals with things that are “cinematic myths” or “urban legends”-- for example, “Can a ninja walk on water?” While revealing that is good TV... it doesn’t have any practical application to everyday life. I don’t know any ninjas.
This vs. That, on the other hand, deals with things that go on in our lives... It’s about things that are REAL... It’s about the world within arm’s reach. We answer questions about choices and obstacles that we all might have to navigate in the world... and hopefully make that navigating easier.
We’re using science, leading experts from UCLA, The Fermi Lab (among others) and dynamic experiments to reveal answers to life’s most common... and vexing dilemmas. We want to provide viewers information so that when they find themselves in a similar situation, they’ll make better decisions. Our Motto: No bias. No bullshit. Just science, fact, and funny.
Will you fluff my garfield? Consider it done.
What's your favorite bit/sketch that you've ever done? Edit: Or what is your favorite type of game to do on Whose Line? (Like songs, the alphabet game, questions only, etc.) I did a really lovely sketch of a ladder when i was eight. it looked very realistic.
Thanks for stopping by to answer our questions. Who are some people that you would love to do improv with, but have not had a chance to? Greg Proops!
What do you think of Whose Line Is It Anyway? coming back? I hope the CW gives it a good time slot and room to get its audience back!
Favorite pizza toppings? Best professional/career related decision you've made? Jalapeno. Reddit.
Is your head really that big? Or does the TV add like 3 hat sizes? Sadly, my head is abnormally large.
Brad, I heard there was an interesting incident while you where filming the Traffic Experiment. My brother-in-law created the show and I understand was filming in the car with you. What happened? Jon Hotchkiss, the producer of my new show This Vs. That. got car sick while filming. we had to pull over so he could puke.
Amateur...
I've seen your live improv show. And seriously, what's wrong with Colin Mochrie? He's not right. He's mental...
Who are your role models? Has anyone been a great influence for you? Time Conway, art carney, monty python, don knotts, monty python, & monty python.
What's your opinion on the divide between short form and long form improv? Also, what has been the best advice you have received while starting out in this art form? First off, since you"re a "baby improver", if you could make a version that doesn't shit and cry, you would be rich.
Drew always said the points don't matter, but they did, didn't they? The points do matter. we saved up our points & at the end of the season, each point was converted into credits at the Olive Garden.
Don't you get tired of people asking if Whose Line was genuinely improvised? haha because even I get annoyed when people ask that, because I know that it was. I take it as a backhanded "you guys couldnt possibly be that clever" kind of compliment.
During WLiiA, who made you crack up more? Me.
I have a question about Laura from whos line. How does she know all those songs? The producers would give her a list of bands & genres and she would go home and arrange songs that sounded like them, but wouldnt be a legal problem for copyright.
Is a reverse mortgage right FOR ME? No.
Hey Brad you guys are truly talented but with it being so niche, what is the appeal of doing improv, compared to a regular acting gig or a stand up routine? There are many forms of many forms of art & comedy. WHy do some people play jazz and others play metal?
Were any of Wayne's songs scripted? They always seemed way too perfect. I loved the show-- it helped me through my awkward teenage years. No part of this show was scripted. we heard a song title and immediately the music started, and we were off & singing whether we had an idea or not.
Did you prefer the UK version or US version of Whose Line Is It Anyway? No difference for me as a performer. the commute was easier for the US version...
Could you go in-depth about the mouse trap bit? Were they all real and set mouse traps? Have you gotten sed to feeling their sting? How in the hell did that idea even begin in the first place? I haveto admit it was the funniest part of your show. Oh and also, please come to Chicago! Theyre real. sometimes they hurt, sometimes they don't.
What are some of the best bald-jokes that you know? 5 head.
Would you rather speak every language in the world or have the ability to play every musical instrument? I'd rather be a great guitarist than any other super power i dont already have.
What was the one scene from a hat that you felt stood out from the rest? As improvisers, we are in "comedy crisis" mode while performing. we usually dont even remember the scene until we see it on TV.
On a scale of 1 to 10, just how bald is Colin Mochrie? 7.75 his hair is like wrap around seating in a diner booth.
Do you like trains? I like tuhr-tles...
Also, are you and Colin planning on having more tour dates? You guys should come to Austin. Colin & Brad live tour dates for Spring/Summer.
Yeah, I saw the tour dates on your website, none of which are near me (which is why I asked if you plan on adding more). We've toured for 10 years. always adding more.
Nearly everyone I know that has watched Whose Line has their favorite moment from the show. Over the course of the entire series, what was yours? Richard simmons.
Brad! How did you like playing the horny hobo in "Jane White is Sick & Twisted"? By far the weirdest movie I have ever seen. I'm still waiting for my oscar.
Brad! My family and I have seen the Colin and You Show about three times now -- hysterical every time. Any horror stories from any of those shows? PS Two Man Group is one of my most-watched shows on Netflix. Thank you for your demented & loyal support!
Are you famous enough that you get a lot of tail? I'm famous enough for my wife's tail.
What was your best experience with Colin or Ryan on whose line? Lunch.
Who was the better host: Drew or Clive? (my money is on Clive) Both were great. Both were truly nice guys too.
Favorite Whose Line moment? Payday.
What made you go into improv comedy? Is there anything you do (or you used to do) to prepare yourself for anything that comes at you onstage? Thanks for doing this IAMA! I love making people laugh. improv is a comedy martial art. you have to be ready for whatever comes at you.
Practice your craft.
Ironically, I was just watching an episode of Whose Line this past night in which you were the fourth chair. I like my banana bread without nuts.
I suppose the logical question to follow would be what is your favorite recipe for banana bread? Dont forget to spay or neuter you pet.
What is your favorite "game" on Whose Line Is It Anyway? ? SFX.
What are your thoughts on Chicago long-form improv? I like CHicago deep dish pizza.
I grew up doing long and short form.
One is bumper cars and one is cross-country skiing.
Do you ever get tired of being known mainly for whose line when it's been done for years now? No!
Brad! What was your favourite moment from WLIIA? Who's your favourite other cast member? What is the most ridiculous scenes from a hat that you had to do? Vague memories buried under 1000's of hours of performing live improv makes that truly impossible to answer.
Hello Brad! 1-) Will you be on new series of Whose line? 2-)will you or whose line crew will ever come Turkey?(i know its a long shot) Colin and I have been to india.
If the spot for the 4th chair came down to it, who would win in a fight, you or Greg? A "talent fight" or an actual fight? I watch a lot of UFC. i think i could arm-bar Greg pretty quick...
Hi Brad! love your work! Me and a friend are going to perform the game Whose line/sentences in two days for an audience. Do you have any wise words to share with us? Also if it goes well, we will do a hoedown on a later occasion. Could you reveal some of your technique in this game? Hoedown: always rhyme with "ass".
What would you say the first rule of improv is? Who is one person that you want to perform with that you have not had the chance to yet? What type of music do you listen to? Listen. Ricky Gervais. Metal, Folk, Hip Hop, Hair Band 80s.
Is that the same Mark Decarlo from "Studs" in the "This vs. That" trailers...? He's much older and wiser now.
Going by the outtakes from WLIIA, it seemed like everyone really hated the Hoedowns. Any insight on that? About how many times a taping did you guys end up having to retry a hoedown? I didnt hate them as much as others. rhyming was easy for me.
How upset was that blond woman when you sang about her breasts on "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" She actually seemed pretty offended but it was still hilarious to watch. Relevant clips starts at 4:45. Her left breast wasn't offended at all.
Are there games on Whose Line you didn't get to take part in that you wish you did? (Being the field reporter on newsflash, etc) No.
Brad! You were one of the best on Whose Line, what was your favorite game on the show? Most memorable/fun moment? Thanks! love so many games. new CHoice, SFX,
I know having two unanswered questions is kind of taboo here on reddit but, what is one piece of advice that you would give to today's youth? Take time to laugh. Don't get caught up in an over reactive, angry world. Everybody is an angry democrat or angry republican. Your political, or religious views don't have to be defended to the death against someone who disagrees. (There will always be 'disagree-ers' [new word])
Don't lose your life into your gadgets. Your phone is a seductive universe. For every hour you spend inside the web (or texting, or gaming), spend an hour painting, songwriting, hiking, etc.
Spread peace. Be tolerant. Listen more than you talk. Be overly courteous to people you interact with in the world. It will come back to you.
Share your positive thoughts. Withhold your negative thoughts. Do not stay in destructive relationships. Find your joy.
What is your favorite drink? Dirty Martini.
How long did it take you to perfect your B52's impression? Didnt even know i did one until they threw that style at me.
Would you please tell us a joke? I'll just tell the punch line.
"All I could see was the monkey trying to put the cork back in!"
About often did you have to refilm a scene on Whose Line because of unairable content? We never refilmed. they would just cut out a game if it was too "unairable".
What's your favourite city to perform in / where have you had the best time doing improv? My favorite town is your city, USA.
(cheesy grin)
Would you and your mates consider a tour in Europe(possibly in Italy)? :) Yes! Grazi!
Do you want to guest star on the new version of whose line? And do you still hang out with the other performers? Are Ryan's feet really that big? Yes. yes. yes.
Any plans to come to the west coast? I'm there now. Mission accomplished.
Do you know about Link to fuckyeahbradsherwood.tumblr.com ? Now I do! it's the finest website in all the land.
How does it feel to be king of the "If you know what I mean" game? Like a bag of sausages in a jacuzzi...
Is improv something worth doing to make yourself a '"better" person' (more out going, confident, wittier, funnier, ect)? In theory, yes. but most improvisers are whack-a-doodle.
I think you are very talented, I loved the show "whoes line is it anyway." I always wondered have any of you had a day where you are just brain dead and cant think of a witty comeback? Was there a secret signal you had to give for someone else to take over? We didn't need secret signals. We had electric buzzers in our shorts. If we weren't being funny, the producers would shock us. That's why Colin occasionally fainted on stage.
Are you going to be on the new Whose Line? Why is Drew Carey not hosting it? Do you listen to Proops' wonderful podcast? Maybe, Dunno, Yes.
It must have been awesome working with those guys on whoseline, you guys were always funny, but did you go to college and what did you want to be when you were younger? I went to college for acting. I wanted to be an actor since I was 8.
Me and my buddies are having a poker game in Jersey on Thursday. You down to come? Deeal me in.
Favorite sport to watch(if any)? How long does it take to film one episode of whose line? Oddly I watch UFC & X games only.
Ryan always use to make fun about Drew's high salary. Was there such a huge difference between them in pay terms? No. The were both exec producers.
WHEN IS WHOS LINE COMING BACK!!!? There's a great website called Reddit where I answer this question. This summer...
Did Drew Carry ever actually threaten to fire you after the hundreds of times the cast joked about him? No, but he did hold a "points embargo" in protest of having to do hoedowns.
I saw you and Colin a few years ago and I almost peed myself when you were rolling around on mousetraps. Of course it was absolutely hilarious, but what on earth possessed you to do that as part of your show? We wanted to make people pee. I guess we failed in your case...
So no love for the West Coast huh? Love it here. I live here. But people in snow come to the show.
What is the strangest predicament you have ever been in while touring? We were kidnapped by monkeys in Omaha, leaving an Applebee's.
So Brad, is there really nothing better than a 200 pound snatch? If you know what I mean. A Cajun clam waffle is also pretty awesome...
Shit I can't believe I missed this. I hate work. WLIIA got me through so much angst and depression because I could never help but laugh at you guys when I was at my lowest. You are one of my favorite WLIIAers...you and Greg Proops are tied I think, but I had an opportunity to watch one of his stand up shows and found him hilarious and charming. So my question (that I am sure will not be answered because you are long gone but I still want to ask) is: given the opportunity, what would you do to tip the scales in your favor? Answering your reddit question?
Brad I have seen your show four times with Colin, you guys are awesome! How many toes have you broken in the mouse trap act? All eleven...
You know what you should do? Come to New Zealand. I'm now old enough to actually go to shows and yours would be very high up on the list of people I want to see :D Love your work! On my way, Kiwi.
Where do you get your beautifully Hawaiian shirts? Korea.
Do you hate any games as much as Ryan hated Hoedowns? No.
I'm 24. When I was a young girl I only had two TV crushes you and the Fonz. How does that make you feel. Cool. (get some counseling)
This is very important information. Other topics the show tackles: A. What’s the fastest way to board passengers onto an airplane? B. What’s the fastest way to navigate through freeway traffic? Stay in your lane, weave in and out of cars, or is better to take the surface streets? C. Which flotation device is more likely to save your life if you survive a plane crash into water: The life vest or the seat cushion? D. Which is really better for the environment? I just wanted to say thank you for your support to the LGBT community! You're welcome! there is no bigger ciivil rights issue at hand in America. if any American was denied an equal right based on their religious belief, there would be protests & fury.
Someday, we will all have equal rights and people will have to come to terms with their homophobia in their own minds, not in courts and voting booths.
Can't wait for this to start -^ Me neither.
I really just came here to tell you that I'm a huge fan and think that you're fucking hilarious. I will be watching the new show. U rock.
Dude. I saw your most dangerous improve stunt at casino rama a couple years ago! I don't think I've ever laughed so hard in my life. This isn't a question. Sorry. I'm bad at taking instructions. You don't have to in life.
Give me your best "if you know what I mean" taking place in a homeless shelter... Nice bum...
I'm so excited for "This Vs. That"! Finally a show that is both entertaining and informative. This vs. That PREMIERES on the Web MONDAY March 18th 2.

Icehole!!! Sometimes!
Brad, I can't stop staring at your breasts. Pot titties, mofo!
Describe Jeff B. Davis in one word or acknowledge my existence. Either one will bring me great joy because I've watched Whose Line since before I could understand the jokes. Also, I seem to enjoy run on sentences. Jeff might be the greatest raconteur I know on planet earth.
YES! I love you Mr. White Wayne Brady! Don't make Mr. white Wayne Brady use my hand to aggressively strike upon an undesirable female dog...(this is hard)
I don't really have any questions. Just stopped in to tell you that The Colin and Brad Show Tour is hilarious. I appreciate humor that I can watch with my parents and not get immensely uncomfortable. Thanks! Happy to keep your parents comfortable...
We just started doing improv in my theater class and I'm so good at all the games because I watch a lot of Whose Line. I just wanted to say thank you! Keep it up. The world will always need funny people.
I fucking love you man. Seriously, thank you for all the laughs. There were times where I've been really stressed out and watching you do your thing made me forget about my troubles. Thank you. Laughter is the best medicine without a prescription.
Nice article you had on the Huffington Post. . I can't read...
I have no question, I just wanted to say that I have watched every episode of WLiiA, and you are absolutely my favorite performer on that show! You are a genius!
Hearing Whose Line is coming back really made the ol dingle dangle, if you know what I mean. Pull up your pants, pervert!
I'm a huge fan of "Whose Line.." and I've probably watched all your skits from that show on youtube. I want to thank you for the countless hours of happiness you gave me. You are amazing man. Good luck with your new shows. I'm from India btw! Namaste!
I know you probably won't see this but i loved the Disney's California Adventure special you and Colin did when it opened. I love the parks and watch the Disneyland specials before going, I always watch that one. I never saw it. Completely forgot until you just mentioned it! LOL.
How is your overall friendship with Drew, Ryan and Colin. I have a restraining order against one of them. One them has a restraining order against me. I'm sleeping with the third.
You're cute, Brad. Oh, I know, Rosie.
Oh my god I came too late.. I love you man, my favourite scene of you is on the segment where you guys had to sing one syllable word at a time and you faked fainting, oh my god, that was hilarious! thank you for making me laugh.. keep on doing this :) That was Colin's gag. (Maybe I stole it...)
I justed wanted to say that you're a beast on Quick Change, and that hasn't been said enough. You always came up with a completely different line changing all the mood of the scene. You're awesome. I know...
